Life is transformation. Something new comes along and something remains. Despite the difficulty to imagine the future it is impossible not to.
The exercise aims at imagining an architectural future for the city of Shanghai, departing from the study of present and future problems. A transformation geared to establish a way to relate people, architecture and nature. It is about reconsidering our viewpoints, the distances and relative locations of the elements of everyday life (from social relationships to technology, from construction to nature, from communication to the senses…) to establish a new geometry of life.
